What is Breathwork?

Arete Breathwork is a specific breathing technique that allows you to release stress, anxiety allowing you to relax and return back to wholeness. You will experience and feel the results within just 1 hour! Arete is a greek concept for ''excellence- reaching someones fullest potential". Breathwork is a powerful tool that allows you to not only see, but feel & experience what your highest and purest potential is.

Did you know our unconscious mind is responsible for 90% of our daily decisions?

And that's why breathwork is so powerful. 

It's one of the major tools I use to help clients dive deep into their unconscious patterns and become aware of all the ways you have been playing small. Once you become aware of those patterns, then it becomes much easier to change them.

Awareness then will allow you to feel happy, find a new sense of joy, and recognize your purpose.

 Is breathwork safe for me?

Out of the thousands of people we have worked with I have not experienced a problem with any of them.
 
However, these breathwork exercises can bring intense emotions and surface painful memories and that’s why we would be on the cautious side and should consult your doctor if you:

  • Have a severe mental illness
  • Have any seizure disorders
  • Are using major medications
  • ​Have a history of aneurysms
  • ​Have high-blood pressure
  • ​Are pregnant

Your health and safety is important for me and I want to make sure this is right for you and keep you safe.

 Do we lose any benefits doing this breathwork session online vs. in person?

There is absolutely no problem and you will retain all the benefits whether you do it in person or through a webinar. Due to the current state of the world, I have made our events online and found that people experience the same exact results. 

I’ve Never Done Any Breathwork, Meditation, or Yoga before. Will I Still Be Able To See Benefits?

Absolutely! I've noticed that the people who have never done any sort of breathwork or meditation, tend to have the best experiences.

A Little Bit About Me As Your Certified Breathwork Guide!

Since childhood, Irina made it her mission to help people feel noticed, loved and valued. 
Her love for growth and humanity has led Irina on a personal journey of discovery. Throughout her teenage years to cope with challenging times, Irina turned to meditation and personal development. Although these were great tools, Irina did not truly feel the changes until she discovered breathwork. 

Her love for growth inspired her to spend years studying the human mind, psychology, awareness and the power of breath. 

Today, Irina practices breathwork every day and spends her time coaching clients one on one and leading them in group breathwork journeys.

Using breathwork as a tool, Irina has made it her mission to create a safe space for people to go on a journey guided by their own breath and find the answers within themselves while feeling loved and noticed.

Along with being a breathwork guide, Irina is also a Entertainment Banker and is actively involved in the community. 

As a Relationship Banker Ms. Melkumyan works directly with clients to proactively manage and develop their business and personal banking needs. As a Relationship Manager, Ms. Melkumyan uses her banking experience, expertise and knowledge to deepen her relationships while providing tailored financial advice. She maintains a high level of trust and acts as a consultant to her clients.

She has been working with St. Baldrick’s Foundation since 2014, using her voice and skills to help raise money and awareness for children with cancer. Ms. Melkumyan is also the Board Chair for the Young Women’s Commission for the SoCal Women’s Conference, she uses her time and energy to educate, mentor and inspire young entrepreneurs to achieve their goals and dreams authentically. 

Ms. Melkumyan is fluent in both Armenian and Russian.
